Ever since I was little, I have always cared about the wellbeing of others. Many moons later, I went into nursing where I made a career of my empathy. Even though you'll find me hanging a bag of chemotherapy at work, I'm slinging wellness teas on the side. I'm a firm believer that foods can cure some ailments and should be utilized when possible. Please, do not use this as a great excuse to not meet with your primary care provider! I can help ease minor ailments and symptoms, but leave the doctoring to the doctor.
In making these teas, I focus on one main thing: the ailment I am looking to ease. In each tea, you will only find natural ingredients aimed to treat a specific ailment. Although these teas can be delicious, the main goal is functionality.
All ingredients used are all natural. Some are sourced from my garden or that of a friend or neighbor. A few components are foraged from my property. Lastly, I can't manage to grow everything so I do have source some items while time helps to grow my garden. Each tea bag is compostable and all natural.
These teas can be enjoyed however your heart desires. Boil about 8 oz of water and submerge the tea bag for at least 5 minutes. If you like a bold flavor, leave the bag in while you enjoy. If not, remove the bag from the water. These teas can be enjoyed both hot and cold. I love to fill a glass bottle with ice and carry my Vitamin C Overload around with me to sip during these crazy weather chanes.
