My sources

A goal in making my creations is to keep things as local as possible, whether from a garden or the woods. Over time, I hope to be able to produce even more of my own ingredients.

My Gardens

Whenever possible, I strive to use ingredients fresh from my gardens. Whether it's cayenne peppers growing in the heat of the summer, or sage leaves in my drinks year round.

Foraging

When the season is right, I love to forage ingredients. From mushrooms for dinner, chanterelles for my salts, or mullein and rose hips for my teas.

Precautions

I have spent a lot of time and effort in the past few years to learn how to accurately identify different plants and mushrooms. It is not recommended to consume anything that you are not 100% sure of it's ID. Everything is edible, some things only once.
